Our six Beach Cottages sit around the swimming pool in a garden of frangipani, gardenia and bougainvillea, a few steps from the beach. Each one is decorated with a mix of Balinese craftsmanship and modern comfort: a king-size bed with fine linen, carved doors and hand-picked furniture.
Upstairs, under the thatched roof, a loft with two single beds makes a relaxing reading nook, or a bedroom for children or friends, with views over the fishing boats to the sea. The natural-stone bathroom is open to the sky: stargazing is allowed.
Every cottage has a private terrace looking onto the garden and pool, screened by flowering shrubs for privacy. The coral reef in front of the hotel is a two-minute walk away. Bring your mask and snorkel.
